NMR Consulting Awarded Relocation Services Contract with FDA
Department of Health & Human Services/Food & Drug Administration Relocation Services, FDA White Oak Consolidation
ANNAPOLIS, Md., August 28, 2006 – NMR Consulting was awarded a prime contract to provide relocation services for the Food & Drug Administration's BioScience Library and Engineering and Physics Laboratories. These services were awarded as part of the FDA's phased relocation approach to consolidate various centers in the Montgomery County area to the new FDA campus in Silver Spring.

NMR and its partner will provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, and moving supplies for the physical relocation and consolidation of the Engineering and Physics Laboratories, offices, and personnel from the existing facilities at Fishers Lane in Rockville, Md, to two new facilities at the White Oak facility in Silver Spring, Md. The required services include relocation of IT equipment, such as laptops, desktops and servers; as well as movement of standard office furniture, library materials, and specialty scientific equipment.
