NMR Consulting Acquires SG Data Network Services

ANNAPOLIS, Md., September 18, 2006 – NMR Consulting, Inc. (NMR), a local IT consulting company, has announced its acquisition of SG Data Network Services (SG Data), a Severna Park-based network services firm. The combination of NMR and SG Data creates a dynamic team. It conjoins the breadth and depth of NMR’s government contracting knowledge with SG Data’s commercial service innovation and creativity. The acquisition couples two of the area’s foremost service-driven IT providers, and furthers NMR’s initiative to branch into the commercial market.

Mr. Davids will remain with NMR as the company’s director of commercial services. This week, NMR will commence with its planned integration of the two companies’ operations and networks to ensure a smooth transition and to provide immediate value for customers. Robert Taylor, SG Data’s president, will resign his position but affirms the transition will be a seamless one. "NMR will maintain [SG Data’s] group of engineers and help desk personnel [the company’s customers] have come to know," says Taylor. "I know the NMR team will continue to provide [our customers] with the outstanding service and personal touch they deserve."
